ABOUT ME
I’m a lighting designer based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia—specializing in concert and theatre lighting. I was initially a bassist and audio engineer, but everything changed the moment I had a taste of lighting programming. Music and lights—they just clicked.
HOW IT STARTED
While studying at a music college in Kuala Lumpur, I discovered my love for live sound and concerts. I applied for an internship at a concert production company, aiming to get into audio—was instead placed as a junior lighting technician. That unexpected turn became the beginning of everything. I quickly became fascinated with how lighting could transform a live performance, and I’ve been building my craft ever since.
WHAT I DO
I now specialize in concert and theatre lighting design, and I’ve worked on all major industry-standard consoles (MA2, Chamsys Avolites, ETC, Hog 4). My creative process—from pre-vis to pre-production—happens right out of my home office in Kuala Lumpur.
